Program Structure and Timeline

On-the-Job Training (OJT)

Gain 2000 hours of hands-on experience in real caregiving settings.

You’ll work alongside experienced CNAs and supervisors who provide mentorship and guidance, ensuring you develop practical skills in a supportive environment.

Typical tasks include assisting clients with daily activities, monitoring health conditions, and ensuring a safe and clean environment.
OJT hours are structured to give you exposure to a variety of caregiving scenarios, preparing you for the diverse needs of clients.

Classroom Instruction

Complete 144 hours of coursework designed to complement your on-the-job training.

Classes are led by qualified instructors and cover a wide range of topics to build your technical knowledge and critical thinking skills.

Instruction includes both theoretical learning and practical demonstrations.
Classroom topics are closely aligned with the skills you’ll use during OJT, ensuring a seamless integration of learning and practice.

Probationary Period

The first 500 hours of on-the-job training serve as a probationary period.

During this time, you'll receive regular feedback and support while both you and the program assess mutual fit.

We provide additional training as needed, carefully monitor your progress, and work with you to establish and evaluate performance goals.
